Grand Tour Etna

During the grand tour with Etnawild you will take in the breathtaking landscapes of the north and north-eastern slopes of Etna. Accompanied by our guide Gianfranco , you will be able to feel the ‘breath’ of Etna visiting active faults of the volcano. You will also discover the genesis of Etna and its fascinating volcanic phenomena, with a visit to the Valle del Bove: a lava desert of 34 km2, and the theatre of the last eruptions. With a trek, depending on your choice, of varying length and difficulty, you will visit both the lateral eruptive craters of Etna and the location of the historically most destructive eruption. You will also have the opportunity to visit a lava flow cave and walk on a magmatic river bed.
